The Byars Family

Saturday came and along with it, some drizzling.  Well, actually there was a downpour early in the AM but when the shoot for the Byars family began, there was a light drizzle – but the family was all about continuing on, after all – it really was a light drizzle and it went away after a few minutes.  I am glad because I got to meet Scott – who was absolutely ADORABLE!  Here is a sneak peek!

Davenport (maternity)

I met a great couple! These two are friendly and hilarious.  There was a lot of laughter between us and this couple – thank you for such a fun session!  Here is a sneak peek of baby Davenport…  (in belly)

Jackson and Melanie Meier

I have had the privilege of being the photographer for the Meier family for a couple years now.  We celebrated Jackson together, the whole family, the birth of Melanie and now I was able to do a fun session of Jackson and Melanie together :) Here is a sneak peek:

The DeCastro Family (rocks). duh.

I had an awesome time Saturday afternoon with a super great family and I shot them in a place I have never been… an old abandoned barn in Plainfield. I la la la loved it.  There are so many awesome scenes at this surreal place and I am guessing I will be there a lot. I will be hosting a photography date there so keep in tune for details! Here is a sneak peek:

Naomi – 3 months of cuteness!

OH MY goodness! When mom and dad brought Naomi into the room my assistant and I  turned into oohing and ahhing ladies.  This little bundle of cuteness lit up the room with her amazing eyes, full head of hair, and smiles.  I am so glad to have met sweet Naomi and am happy to be able to document her at 3 months old.  Sweet Naomi, here is your sneak peek!

Payton Cook

Seriously?! This little guy is sooOooOoo handsome.  I had so much fun on Saturday with mom, Lana, and Payton.  Near the end of the shoot Mom suggested letting Payton play in the puddles created due to the rain.  Um, can you say photographers dream? I had a fun time and am so excited about these pictures. Here is a sneak peek!

The Slowik Family

One of the best things about being a photographer doing children and family portraits, is that I get to watch little ones as they grow up.  Little Carley is all ‘grown up’ and celebrating being two. Awe, and soon she will be a big sister! I was so glad to see the Slowik family!  Here is a sneak peek.

Peyton… :)

This girl is just sweet sweet sweet, in that order! :)  I had the honor of photographing little Peyton a few months back and how lucky am I to get her and mom back in my studio!?  Mom had the greatest bows! She makes them herself. She is very reasonable and super creative! Check out her facebook page, Peyton’s closet – here and don’t forget to LIKE it and get some bows.  Here is a sneak peak of darling little Petyton!

Seth #Ineverknewanybodycouldbethisawesome

Saturday morning rolled around, rain was beating on the windows when I woke up, and the dreary day was also…. freezing.  I drank some coffee and told myself it is what it is and we can make the best of it.  I had Shoots during the day and I wanted to do them indoors and outdoors maybe it won’t be so bad…  Got to the studio, and shortly thereafter Lauren and I met…. Seth.  Everyone should be this awesome…. he brought the sunshine that matters most- the one inside of us. :) here is a sneak peek.
